I'm a second-year student at the University of Maryland in the Cognitive Psychology Program. Here is a list of the classes I've taken so far:

  Introduction to statistical methods for Psychology, including descriptive statistics, common distributions, and basic probability theory.
• PSYC 602 - Quantitative Methods 2
  More statistical methods for Psychology, including regression analysis and ANOVA and some permutations of those.
• PSYC 605 - Sensory and Perceptual Processes
  Biological introduction to sensory detection and transduction.
• PSYC 607 - Advanced Cognitive Psychology
  Introduction to Cognitive Psychology for graduate students. Going to the primary sources on trends and concepts in cognition and decision theory.
• PSYC 610 - Historical Viewpoints and Current Theories in Psychology
  Broad history of Psychology and its relation to the history of Western thought.
• PSYC 611 - Advanced Developmental Psychology
  Development across the lifespan, with a cross-cultural focus.
• PSYC 707 - Theory of Decision and Choice
  Different ways of describing or prescribing judgment and decision-making.
• PSYC 709 - Seminar in Mathematical Models
  Various mathematical approaches to modeling cognition.
• PSYC 788B - Special Research Problems: Scientific Ethics
  The ethical concerns involved in being a responsible graduate student, mentor, and faculty member.
• PSYC 789 - Reading Seminar in HCI
  Reading course focusing largely on the research interests of the participants, which included Information Retrieval and web navigation behaviors.
• PSYC 798C - Introduction to Cognitive Science
  Survey of current trends - models and philosophies - in Cognitive Science and its relationship to Cognitive Psychology.
• CMSC 828F - Advanced Topics in Information Processing: Advanced Introduction to HCI
  Graduate-level introduction to Human-Computer Interaction, including user testing.

  Survey course on methods of automatically and dynamically representing data and information.

I did my undergraduate work at Carnegie Mellon, where I took some other classes. I double-majored in Cognitive Science and European Studies, getting the most out of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences by studying at least one humanity and a social science. This should explain why my course selections were all over the map.
