As a native Marylander, I have spent a great deal of time exploring the diverse geological areas that comprise the state. I have always loved nature, especially animals and geological processes, such as volcanoes and earthquakes. I have three horses, three dogs, a rabbit, and a cat. Horses have always played a large role in my life. I started riding when I was six, and got my first horse when I was nine. My first horse, Miss Barry, had a baby just over six years ago. His name is Oliver and I spend lots of time showing him at horse shows.
