KIRSCHNER REINSTATED: At the AGA'S Board meeting on January 2, Chris
Kirschner was reinstated as President of the American Go Association,
ending several months of controversy over the AGA's leadership.
Kirschner will serve until June. The Board elected Allan Abramson Chair,
and appointed a Leadership Development Committee (LDC), charging it with
making recommendations for a new President to succeed Kirschner. Chapter
representatives have been asked to submit their suggestions by January
18 and the LDC will make its recommendations by March 31.
