Undergraduate Core Course.
The course is designed to introduce the basic knowledge and concept of information systems (IS) to business major students and students from other backgrounds. The course will provide students with an understanding of the roles of information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) in different businesses and business functions. The course will also help develop technical skills, demonstrate how IT projects are managed, and analyze how IS and IT impact (positively or negatively) the competitive position of organizations.
