Title of Project: Clinical Experience at the University Health Center

Decscription of Project: For her project Mokshya worked a pharmaceutical and nursing job where she helped people to understand how the medicines they were prescribed should be used. She also shadowed a doctor and pharmacist.

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: The project aided Mokshya in deciding between pharmacy and medical school after earning her undergraduate degree.

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: Mokshya was unable to take pictures of her experience due to patient confidentiality.

Title of Project: Home Health Care,The Future of Recuperative Care

Decscription of Project: Bei shadowed registered nurses while they visited and cared for home care patients.

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: The project aided Bei in learning that she wanted to work in the home health field not as a medical doctor.

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: Maintaining home health care is difficult. There is not constant monitoring of the patients making it challenging for registered nurses to maintain the patient’s health.

Title of Project: Analysis of Wye House Artifacts

Decscription of Project: Heyfa worked in an archaeology lab where she washed and analyzed artifacts from the site.

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: It helped to apply lessons and theories learned in her archeology class.

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: Some artifacts, ceramics in particular, were hard to identify.
