I've made some icons for glob2 since the current ones (available on http://www.nu6.org/p/globulation2/, inside globulation2-0.8.2-20040308.zip, in Microsoft .ico format), while nice-looking, appear to have nothing in common with any element of the game. Furthermore, they aren't Unix-friendly and aren't being used in the official sources.
