Hi there! My name is Rachel Antigua, and I'm currently in my first year at the University of Maryland. I'm from Greenbelt, MD. At the moment, I'm currently double majoring in Human Development and Psychology. I am blessed to be able to attend this university, and I hope to enjoy the little time I have here to the fullest. I wanted to be a part of the Science and Global Change program here at UMD because I was in an environmental program during my freshman year in high school and I'm interested in learning more about climate change and human ecology. I hope that by attending UMD and being a part of SGC, I gain a sense of community and a sense of self, as well as get out of my comfort zone and potentially make new friends.
Some facts about me are that I train with a running club on my free time. I love to swim recreationally, read webcomics, watch youtube videos and listen to music. I'm a huge sucker for thrillers and I enjoy listening to true crime podcasts whenever I'm on my easy runs.
