Welcome ! I am a 5th and final year PhD candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. My advisor is Professor Gary W. Rubloff. I am working on nano-devices that generate or store energy. I have now actively started looking for external opportunities starting Fall 2011. For details about my background, please click on my Curriculum Vitae.

Over the last 5 years we have had considerable success in building many such novel devices. Our publication portfolio spans from papers in Nature Nanotechnology (impact factor 20.6) to ACS Nano (impact factor 5.3) to Journal of Applied Physics (impact factor 2.1). Popular materials journals such as Sierra Magazine, Discovery News, MRS Bulletin and Materials Today have covered our work as well. You can look at our publications and media coverage by clicking the 'Research' and 'News' tabs on the left.

You may find some interesting, free Labview VIs from time to time on instruments that I am automating as part of my regular research. I also subscribe to various research RSS feeds from Thomson Scientific. The feeds vary with my research interests at this point and get updated every Friday at 12:00 am.
