I was born in Spain
in 1971. One of my passions, besides Physics, is Soccer, therefore the
team I root for can only be one, the only ONE: Real Madrid

I graduated from Universidad Autonoma
de Madrid in 1996 with a Licenciatura en Fisicas, Especialidad Fisica
Teorica. I then moved to Montreal, Canada where I obtained my Master's
Degree in Physics from The Universite du Quebec a Montreal (yes I had to write my
thesis in french...). Then I moved to Davis, California,
for my PhD. After 5 years in California
I am now back in Winter territory. After two years at University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor, as a Postdoctoral
Researcher, and one year at Syracuse University,
I am now at the University of Maryland, in College Park to complete the
postdoctoral appointment started in Syracuse.
