Mon 10.16.00 observations before class From the back of the room, a male voice, "I saw Aladdin last night. I don't care if its gay but, like, that's the best movie ever." A girl from the front turns around nodding emphatically. "Aladdin is the best Disney movie." And from the other side of the room two other voices join in to add, "I like The Lion King," and "Robin Hood was the coolest." :~: surrender = not caring :~: Not being around boys during high school has given me the opportunity to think about them in terms of The Other, i.e. that which I am but have yet to develop. It has given me the time to learn and better understand the psychology behind relationships (of all kinds and on many terms) with The Other and I am more prepared to act consciously in my dealings with it, whatever it may be at the moment. :~: In the words of Soozie, this [as in this right here] is "realization through articulation." :~: The second you stop trying it will all fall into place. Everything is as it should be. |
