Welcome

Hi. I am currently an instructor at Western Carolina University and a doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland, pursuing a Ph.D. in Government & Politics. My research and teaching focus on International Relations, International Political Economy, American Trade and Foreign Policy, International and Economic Development, Intellectual Property Rights, and International Public Health. I also have research interests in the scholarship of teaching and learning.

In the summer of 2010, my wife and I moved to Asheville, NC where she is completing her medical redicency in family medicine (she's much smarter than me). We LOVE living and working in Asheville.
