I am a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Sankar Das Sarma.
My research is focused on the physics of strongly correlated quantum systems which is one of the most exciting,
challenging, and rewarding areas in all of physics.  Specific subjects that interest me the most right now (new things
are always being discovered!) are (in no specific order):

• the fractional quantum Hall effect (FQHE)
  
• topological quantum phases - and - applications of those topological phases to topological quantum computation
  
• quantum phases of ultra-cold atom systems, especially in optical lattices
• thermoelectrics in strongly correlated materials and models
  
• Composite Fermion theory of the FQHE
  
• lattice models of strongly correlated systems, i.e., Hubbard and t-J models

I use a variety of methods, although mostly computationally heavy numerical methods, such as Monte Carlo,
exact/Lanczos diagonalization, and parallelization using high performance computer clusters but often my work is
supplemented with analytics.
