Laura's Jewlery Creations

I've been busy beading and having fun with freshwater pearls and sterling silver. I've decided that jewlery is just hard to photograph well. So please excuse the focus issues. Tell me if you see something you like would like... you may get something similar as a gift. I've started keeping sample pictures of jewlery that catch my eye. Again tell me if you see something you like/would like to have. I'll try to create something close to the picture. Keep in mind nature doesn't "do" perfection and most of the beads I'm working with at the moment are natural. I've decided that life is beautiful because of it's imperfections not it's perfections. That and I'm sure I'm breaking some laws by posting and using the sample pictures. So all designs are subject to alteration be it by choice or necessity.

I made this necklace/earring combo for a friend that was having health problems. It's made of carnelian and beige freshwater pearls with sterling silver components. Carnelian is believed to improved health among other things.	This necklace is composed of carnelian, jasper and moukaite with silver toned beads.
Here's another necklace with carnelian, jasper, and moukaite with gold toned components. Same necklace, different view. I love the swirls in the carnelian beads.	This necklace is made of glass and silver toned beads. The pendant is from the Renaissance Festival.
I made this necklace for Grace. I liked it more than I thought I would and almost kept it:) I had these beads for a long time and couldn't figure out how to use them. It's made of moukaite beads and sterling silver findings.	This necklace is made of royal purple freshwater pearls and onyx with silver components. The pendant is dichroic glass created by Lori Kasamatsu. I love the colors in this necklace but don't have clothes to match it with, yet.

Here is a necklace with white and blue freshwater pearls and a silver clasp.	I love this necklace even though I don't have anything to wear with it. It's made of light green, dark green and beige freshwater pearls with a sterling silver clasp and pendant. The pendant is sterling silver and was created by Lori Kasamatsu.
	Iain picked out this design for Mother's Day 2005. Ros's necklace and earrings are made from freshwater coin pearls and jade with sterling silver accents.
My Mom's necklace and earrings are made of freshwater coin pearls and denim quartz with sterling silver accents.	We originally added extra pearls on the ends of both necklaces because...I have a big neck. But Mom doesn't. I think like the necklace without the extension better.

This necklace is made of strawberry quartz, green aventurine, and sterling silver. This is my first clasp in the front necklace.
