Hello, my name's Kevin Whiten and I'm currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering while pursuing a minor in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the Univerisity of Maryland, College Park. Some of my interest include robotics, drawing, and machinery. I became interested in mechanical engineering due to how it allows me to combine my love of drawing with my love of building and solving puzzles. My goal for the future is being able to contribute to the well-being of others through what I have a role in creating. This goal led me to join the College Parks Scholars Science and Global Change program at the University of Maryland, where I've been able to better understand the climate crisis threatening the well-being of all of us. I hope to graduate from the University of Maryland by 2025 with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in Robotics.
