PH 161 - Fall 2009

PH 161 (a.k.a. Physics I)  is a 3 credit calculus based physics course for engineers.

EXAM #3 will be returned in class on Monday 11/9. Range of scores- 24 to 98%

                  Average: 65%

CURVE: A  80-100   B 70-79   C 60-69   D 50-59

The last long problem was an exact homework problem .  It is obvious that several students are not doing the homework and keeping up in the course. Read your chapters before you come to class and keep up with the HW problems. I only drop one exam at the end of the course.

EXAM #4 will be given on Friday December 4.   It covers Chapter 10, 12, & 17.
