Faculty Research Assistant NASA Land-cover & Land-use Change Program

I am interested in the coupled roles of grazing, fire, and climate variability and change in shaping land-cover and land-use dynamics in grassland and rangeland ecosystems. My current regional focus is on the southwestern United States, although I would like to expand my research to the Mongolian steppe and the Australian Outback in my post-doctoral career. My research centers on the coupled human-environment system and incorporates integrative research to explore the intersection of sustainable land-use practice and conservation.
