An object is moving at an initial velocity of 4 m/s. It is accelerating at a rate of 2 m/s^2. How far will the object have traveled after 20 seconds?

• u = initial velocity (m/s)
• s = displacement (m)
• a = acceleration (m/s^2)
• t = time (s)

* This is the equation for displacement

As we can see from the values we entered into the table, after 20 seconds the object will have traveled 80.5m.
