News and Announcements

May 20: Thank you all for a good long semester. I wish you guys the best in your future endeavors. I made a harder final than usual, because I'd like to push you a little bit, of course I will take that into account when I grade the finals. I post the solution here, it is easier than it looks. The total grade will be ready by Tuesday.  Hope to see many of you at the graduation ceremony. Best wishes, Ha.

May 12:

I'll hold office hours on Monday May 18, 1:30-5:30 and May 20, 9-10am

Here you can find the Final review and formula sheet

Please take some time to fill out the teaching evaluation at www.CourseEvalUM.umd.edu by tomorrow. Your feedback is appreciated.

April 15: Problem set 5 has been posted, due on Tuesday April 28

April 2: 1) I have posted PS4 up, due April 14

              2) The Midterm exams were graded. Mean % is 74%. Above 85% is an A; between 70% and 85% is a B; below 70% is a C; below 50% is an F.

Mar 30: I have posted the midterm and the solution here. Please have a look at them, and come see me if you have any questions. Thanks.
