To find the page for a particular person, use the Surname Index button at the top of any page.

On the page for an individual person you may see the following icons:

Each numbered footnote at the bottom of a person page is a short citation of a source of information. Each footnote has a link to the full citation, shown as [S125] etc. Some of the full citations are followed by a or icon, which is a link to an image or text exhibit related to the source.

Many of the person pages include links to places. When you follow one of these links, you may see a icon, which is a link to further information (images, text, or both) related to that place.
