Lucia Eleanor Tuttle was born on 3 September 1924 in Torrington, Connecticut.2,1 She was the daughter of John Garfield Tuttle and Hazel Lillian Burnett.2,3

Lucia Eleanor Tuttle appeared on the census of 3 April 1930 at 40 Prescott Street, Torrington, Litchfield County, Connecticut, in the household of her grandparents, Arthur and Laura Burnett.2 She resided in July 1942 in Torrington.4 She was a graduate of Torrington High School.5 She was also a graduate of the Abbott Academy.6

Lucia Eleanor Tuttle married Orrin Charles Fritz, son of Charles W. Fritz and Emma R. (?), on 23 July 1949 in Torrington, Connecticut.6

Lucia Eleanor Tuttle resided in 1966 in Torrington, Connecticut.6 She was Honorary State Regent of the Marana Norton Brooks Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Torrington7, on the board of directors of the Torrington Historical Society, and a member of the Torrington Women's Club.5

Lucia Eleanor Tuttle died on 10 June 2008 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington, Connecticut, at age 83.5 She was buried in Center Cemetery, Torrington.5
