John Garfield Tuttle was born on 18 December 1881 in Torrington, Connecticut.3,1 He was the son of Nathan Andrew Tuttle and Martha Elizabeth Lawton.2

John Garfield Tuttle married Hazel Lillian Burnett, daughter of Arthur W. Burnett and Laura I. Scherman, on 6 October 1908 at Winsted, Connecticut.1

John Garfield Tuttle appeared on the census of 5 January 1920 at 287 North Main Street, Torrington, Litchfield County, Connecticut, where his occupation was given as assistant manager at a brass mill.3

John Garfield Tuttle died on 22 March 1926 in Winsted, Connecticut, at age 44.1
