John De Voe was also called "Johannis."2 He was born in 1697.1 He was the son of Abraham De Vouw and Mynno Jurckse.1 He became a prominent member in the "Old Sleepy Hollow Church."1
John De Voe married Hester See, daughter of Jacob See and Catharina Storm, on 9 November 1723 at the Old Dutch Church, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.3,4
John De Voe became a member of the Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow on 31 October 1724; he was elected a deacon, 1736-1738, and an elder, 1744-1746.5 He was buried in the Old Dutch Burying Ground, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.6
John De Voe married Hester See, daughter of Jacob See and Catharina Storm, on 9 November 1723 at the Old Dutch Church, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.3,4
