Hester See was also known as "Esther." She became a member of the Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow on 31 October, 1724.1 She was also known as "Sie." She was baptized in 1706.2 She was born in the Manor of Philipsburgh, Westchester County, New York.3 She was the daughter of Jacob See and Catharina Storm.

Hester See married John De Voe, son of Abraham De Vouw and Mynno Jurckse, on 9 November 1723 at the Old Dutch Church, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.4,3 Hester See died on 15 April 1727 if the inscription that once appeared on her gravestone was correctly recorded.5 She was buried in the Old Dutch Burying Ground, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.5
