Abraham DeVoe was born on 29 August 1807.2,3,4,5 He was the son of John DeVoe and Elizabeth Landrine.1 Abraham DeVoe was baptized on 26 October 1807 at the Old Dutch Church, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.4
Abraham DeVoe married Maria Clarrissa See in 1831.5
Abraham DeVoe appeared on the census of 28 August 1860 at Mount Pleasant Township, Westchester County, New York, in which the post office was recorded as Tarrytown.6 He resided in 1866 at Depeyster Street near Cortlandt Street, North Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York.7
Abraham DeVoe appeared on the census of 5 July 1870 at Mount Pleasant Township, Westchester County, New York, where the post office was given as Tarrytown; the value of his real estate was given as 2500, and the value of his personal estate as 150.8
Abraham DeVoe died on 21 December 1889 at age 82.2,3 He was buried in the Old Dutch Burying Ground, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.3 Here are links to three images that show the arrangement of stones in the north end of the burying ground.
