Jacobus de Voe was born in 1727 in Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York.2 He was the son of John De Voe and Hester See.1 Jacobus de Voe was baptized on 15 April 1727 at the Old Dutch Church, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.3 According to the Thos. De Voe genealogy, Jacobus de Voe died in 1824; however, this book also states he died at age 103 years, which would make his birth in about 1721.2
