Phebe Hunt was born about 1729.1 She was the daughter of Moses Hunt and Mary Close.

Phebe Hunt married Joseph Oakley, son of Miles Oakley and Sarah Tippetts, about 1749.2,3 According to Everett Hunt's web site, A. W. Savary (New England Historical and Genealogical Register, April 1912) says that Phebe Hunt married either William or David Oakley and Eunice Hunt married the other.1
