Hannah Farrington was born about 1759.1 She was the daughter of Benjamin Farrington and Susanna Tompkins. (Jones states her birth date was about 1761).2 One source shows Hannah's parents as Thomas Farrington and Margaret Marston;3 another as Thomas Farrington and Margaret Norris.1

Hannah Farrington married Joseph Oakley, son of Joseph Oakley and Phebe Hunt, about 1776.2

Hannah Farrington died on 7 February 1832.1,3 (Jones claims she died in 1812).2 She was buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Eastchester, Westchester County, New York.1
