Mary Charlotte Smith

Mary Charlotte Smith was also known as "Charlotte." She was also known as "Charlotte Smith." She was born in 1817 or 1818 (her gravestone inscription says she died in 1894, age 76).1,2 She was born in New York state according to the U. S. censuses of 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1920 for her son Arthur W. Burnett. She married Durrant Burnett, son of William Burnett and Rachel Durrant, on 27 April 1848; the minister was D. W. Clark, Minister of the Gospel.3,4

Mary Charlotte Smith appeared on the census of 27 October 1860 at Bedford Township, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her husband.5

Mary Charlotte Smith appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 at Mount Kisco, Westchester County, New York, in the household of her husband.6

Mary Charlotte Smith died on 30 April 1894.1,2 She was buried in Buxton Cemetery, Bedford Township, Westchester County, New York.1,2
