Thomas B. Rushmer was also known as "Thomas Rushmore." He was born on 18 January 1839.1 He was the son of William B. Rushmer and Mary Burnett.

Thomas B. Rushmer appeared on the census of 1 August 1850 at Westfield Township, Essex County, New Jersey, in the household of his stepfather.2 He lived in 1887 at San Francisco, California.3

Thomas B. Rushmer died on 11 March 1919 at age 80.1
