NOTES: this is one of the few Amedee Chabot films I have not yet seen. Angélica María and Enrique Guzmán were popular youth stars (and singers) of the '60s (Angélica María had actually begun her career as a toddler in the early 1950s).

Rosa and Carlos are both amateur race-car drivers (he is actually an engineer and she is studying psychology at the university), who do not get along well. Unfortunately, their parents (their fathers are business partners) would like them to get married! Rosa and Carlos give romance a try, but they bore each other. The parents, after attending a performance of "Romeo and Juliet," decide to try "reverse psychology" on their children: they pretend that there is a "feud" between the families so that Rosa and Carlos will naturally fall in love. Also in the mix are Ester, who says she likes Carlos, and Edgardo, who claims to be in love with Rosa (the old jealousy gambit). The plot bears fruit, so much so that Carlos and Rosa plan to elope, but it turns out that this is a false alarm (they are actually just going to the races which are being held at the airport).

Until I manage to see this film, I cannot comment on it, except to note that (of course!) Amedee Chabot has at least one scene in a bikini, according to a still I have seen.
