Báñame mi amor

(Swim with Me, My Love)

[Carlos Amador, 1966]

Producer: Carlos Amador; Director: Emilio Gómez Muriel; Adaptation: Alfredo Ruanova; Story: Fernando Luján, Alfredo Ruanova; Photography: Ezequiel Carrasco; Music: Manuel Esperón; Film Editor: Rafael Ceballos

CAST: Emily Cranz (Rosa), Amedee Chabot (Regina), Susana Cabrera, Maura Monti, Marco Antonio Muñiz, Fernando Luján, Oscar Ortiz de Pinedo, Rogelio Guerra, Eva Norvind

NOTES: this was Amedee Chabot's second Mexican film (after El tesoro de Moctezuma), shot in August-September 1966 in Acapulco and Mexico City. Unfortunately, not only have I not been able to see this film, I cannot even find any details of the plot (the Historia documental del cine mexicano doesn't have a synopsis). It's interesting to note that the cast includes numerous "foreign" actresses: Cranz, Chabot, Monti, Norvind, Julie Janeiro (Brazil), Mary Ellen, and Tere Vale (Cuba).

Someday perhaps this will turn up!
