I arrived around 10AM. The hall was full of games. Correct me if I am wrong, but there appeared to be a LOT of EM's at this Pinathon. Don't get me wrong, I love EM`s. Did anyone else notice the prepronerance of WEAK FLIPPERS?!?!?!?! Some of the games were so bad that one could not get the ball half-way up the PF. This really turned me off of a bunch of otherwise beautiful Pins. Did anyone else notice the "1 of only 52 made" single-player EM that had a "trade for 67 Vette" tag on it?? Games ===== STTNG Funhouse Diner Twilight Zone Playboy Flash - 3 of them EBD 4 million BC Babewatch Stargate GNR gotta love that boob match sequence TAFG TOM High Speed Grand Lizard Firepower II Power Play - Bobby Orr No Fear Fish Tails Fire F14 Flash Gordon Top Score Spin A Card Baby Pacman Some pin by Brunswick - Yuck - home version??? Odds and Evens Royal Guard Rack a Ball Square Head Slick Chick lots of others There were LOTS of parts available from several vendors. There were lots of PFs and BGs as well as documentation galore!!! One stand had nearly all of their doc sets priced at $5. There was this way-cool EM gun game that Herb Solvers brought up for someone. I wanted this game!!! I saw an NOS Pinbot PF as well as an NOS Phantom BG. All in all, I wish the flippers on the EMs would have been in better shape. I also wish that Miss Nessie HAD SHOWN UP AS ADVERTISED!!! GRRR That is the game I wanted to take home with me!! I guess I will have to bring a game with me next time. Hell - might as well bring two!!! Good to see all of my friends - even made a few new ones!!! John Morrison aspiring pinhead and junk collector or is that aspiring junkhead and pin collector if you saw my game room - you might be unsure as well x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x* From: awhittle@ix.netcom.com (Alan Whittle) Subject: Pinathon Auction Date: 23 May 1995 02:38:48 GMT Well 1995 Pinathon is history.
