Full details of the show will be in the next Pinball Player to be mailed in approx 2 weeks. The venue is approx 2 miles from Blackpool "golden mile". Special rate at the hotel of L30 UK per night B and B for attendees booking under pinball or POA. Steve Treadgold is currently organising the pins for the Show. The dates are 27 and 28 May to be held at the Fernlea Hotel, St Annes-on-Sea Lancs. Hotel Telephone 01253 726726. The Show will be open Saturday 27 May from 1030 hrs to 1800 hrs and in the evening from 2000 hrs to 2230 hrs. On Sunday the opening times will be 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs. The Saturday evening will only be open to those in possession of Saturday tickets. Entrance fees are POA members, UKL5 for two days; non members UKL8 for two days or UKL5 for one day. Rooms in the hotel are available at UKL30 per night per person including breakfast and access to swimming pool squash court etc. Mention pinball for the reduced rate. The show will be held in the hotel's main exhibition room with approx 300 squ metres exhibition space. All machines will be on free play. There will be exhibition stands including POA sales, spares, books etc. POA members can enter the Pinball Wizard competition, now in the 15 th year. Non-members can join the POA at the convention; UKL 16 per 10 copies of Pinball player magazine. Anyone wishing to bring a game to the event gets free entry for themselves and a colleague. There will be a prize for best machine at the show. Table top exhibition stands are free to members; non members and large stands are UKL 15 per square metre. The Fernlea is the most flashest, most expensive hotel in St. Annes. There are BnB places within 100 yards that are 10-15 pounds per night (but of course you don't have the swimming pool and squash courts and stuff - but will you want them??). I have a tourist guide which has a load of hotel details and phone numbers if anyone's interested.
