Title of Project: St.Joseph Medical center

Decscription of Project: Working in the emergency center and St.Joseph helping in everyday tasks such as stocking supplies and assisting nurses

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: An introduction into the healthcare system to get prepared for medical school

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: People have to sit through long waits so many become frustrated and hard to deal with and in many cases very rude.

Title of Project: Volunteering in Operation room at University of MD medical Center

Decscription of Project: Tasks in the operation room included setup and prep of supplies, running blood and moving patients

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: Learn and gain expierence in a real life medical enviorment and getting to watch surgery

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: Very boring lots of grunt work, at many times she felt as if she was going to slow and in the way

Decscription of Project: Mangerial Duties in the UMD atheltic Department, setting up fields for sporting events and clearing after events.

What were the main benefits you received from doing the project?: A very exciting excpierence getting close to UMD sports and meeting athletes and watching games

What were the main pitfalls or obstacles during the development and/or undertaking of the project?: Very long hours with lots of boring work
