About me: I am a Ph.D. candidate majoring in Operation Management with minoring in Economics at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. I enjoy working on both analytical and empirical projects in operations management field. My main research interests are (1) applications of Game Theory in supply chain management (2) procurement auctions (3) market design for the secondary market.
I am currently involved with a few projects related to auctions of returned goods that are sold in B2B secondary market as a part of my dissertation. In particular, I am interested in how bidders make decision in this complex market and how market designers can influence their behaviors. As a part of my dissertation, I also carry out field experiments on a real B2B online B2B marketplace to investigate the seller's best strategies in running auctions.
